The Project
Every major room in this Golden custom build faces west. The great room's two-storey stone chimney is the structural and visual anchor of the house, with a white oak ceiling that runs uninterrupted from the entry to the ridge.
The window wall was engineered with our glazing sub to meet mountain wind loads without intermediate posts, because the view is the reason the owners bought the lot, and we weren't going to frame through it.
